Just had a meal here, my first visit it was amazing, did not disappoint at all. It was hands down the best meal I have had at an Indian restaurant. Will 100% be returning. The staff are so friendly too.

Special shout out to Silheti tonight! Their food is always amazing but due to this tonight’s wait was longer than their usual. (We were warned when ordering that there would be a little bit of a wait which is fine!) Upon arrival our delivery driver could not have been more apologetic for our slightly delayed food which was absolutely worth it! It was piping hot and flavoursome as always. Thank you from two happy regulars!

We live in town and we wouldn’t eat anywhere else. Amazing flavours and variety and we’ve never had a bad meal here. We’ve eaten a lot of Indian cuisine around the country and this is one of the best. Excellent value for money too, BYOB is a fun addition and there is a lovely pub over the road to grab drinks from.

Hidden gem. Not as snazzy as other Indian restaurants, but authentic, very good food, reasonably priced and is not licensed, so you can take your own drinks (they also don't do soft drinks). The pub opposite are happy for you to take drinks over. They have wine glasses on the table and will open your beer. This also keeps your bill down massively. There were regulars in there when we visited which is a good sign. Friendly service. they will be doing takeaway during lockdown.

For nearly 30 years this has been absolutely the finest curry house in town. The team have always looked after guests in a kind and caring manner and they have become institutionally important to the make-up of Wantage. Recently the standard of cooking has taken another lift, going from great to truly excellent.

Was visiting family in town and they recommended we try this place. It was great. Owner was friendly and attentive. Food was flavorful, authentic, quickly prepared and inexpensive. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Wantage.

My daughter requested some help choosing a king prawn curry. The chef suggested a dish that was superb. Great service!
